HepatoSys, Inc. was founded in 2005 with a mission to improve patient outcomes by expanding availability of viable organs for transplantation through innovative engineering technology.  This would be accomplished by improving the recovery of Donation after Cardiac Death Organs.  We currently have two product lines: 

1)  New Hypothermic Machine Perfusion Solution

2)  Viability Assessment Device

The Scientific Team is composed of two Scientists and three technicians.  Drs. Mark Clemens (Physiologist) and Charles Lee (Biomedical Engineer) have over 40 years of research experience with over $10 million of funding.

The Business Management Team, Drs. Elizabeth Miescher-Clemens and Kristin Rogentine-Lee, are advised by Taffy Williams, Business Consultant

Since its inception, HepatoSys, Inc. has received almost $2 million from the National Institutes of Health to develop the company’s products.
